We're addicted to mud.  There's something about the goo teetering between solid and slime that brings out our creativity.  Its begging to be worked into a new shape.   We indulge that habit from our first mud pie to the time an adult convinces us that its not good to get dirty.  So we put away our mud.  But we remember that it was fun, earthy and good.

Here's a little secret.  Its OK to play in mud when you call it ART.  The ceramic arts offer the opportunity to get creative with the raw ingredients of mud, water, and fire.   It offers a lifetime of creative expression for pre-schoolers to seniors and everyone in between.

Baltimore Mud wants to support your mud habit.  You can take pottery lessons, decorate your house with works by professional artists, or just dig into a lump of clay see what emerges.  You might miss the grit and earthworms, but its still squishy and it's still a lot of fun.  Take a look around this site or email us at info@baltimoremud.com to learn more.
